Original unissued surplus Polish AKM cleaning kit. These cleaning kits can be stored in trap door compartments found on the backside of stocks in the AK and SKS platforms. The kits fit nicely into a “pill” shaped bottle where they can be stored for later use. The AKM and SKS utilize the philosophy of being able to carry everything you need for the rifle on the rifle. Trap door stock compartments allow the user to combo up with the cleaning rod to clean and service the rifle to optimize accuracy, barrel life, and reliability. It can also be paired well with SVD’s, PSL54’s and other 7.62 weapons.
