Chinese “flatback” magazines were the final generation of steel magazines, known for their nearly flat spine, long follower, and two lower rib design. They are sometimes called spineless magazines and typically feature neat, uniform welds on the front locking lugs and rear. Manufactured in China, these surplus steel magazines hold 30 rounds of 7.62x39mm.
