The Egyptian Helwan pistol was manufactured as a licensed copy of the Italian Beretta Model 1951. This Helwan “Brigadier” pistol in 9mm is in good condition. This is an Interarms import from the early to mid 90s of the commercial model Helwan made in Egypt. The overall finish is good at 70% but there are some signs of minor rust/grime on the push button magazine release at the heel of the grip. The slide shows the most wear with substantial finish loss near the muzzle. The grips are good, black plastic, with very minor scratches and wear. The barrel is good with minor wear and bore is very good, shiny with crisp rifling. Minor signs of wear on inside frame and hammer. Breech face is clean with slight wear. This pistol includes four eight round magazines and an EAA hard case (not factory original).
