This Mexican Mauser M.1910 is in good condition.
We noted that not all serial numbers are matching and it is missing a cleaning rod.
The year of production is unkown as it cannot be read on the receiver. This rifle has a Mexican crest along with Fabrica Nacional de Armas production marking. The bluing is fairly worn and the finish has a nice patina to it. We noted even wear on the finish and the rifle still retains some of its original finish.
The bore had rifling but it was pretty dark and there was current pitting. We cleaned this unit to help out the barrel and clean out some of that rust. The bolt and bolt face look very good.
The stock is in good shape and retains most of its original finish however it has dried and formed some cracks. We noted some dehydration cracks forming on the top of the cheek well by the butt plate, one near the lower trigger guard, and another by the lower sling mount. We also noted one near the bayonet lug. We have oiled the stock to give it some hydration and keep the wood intact the cracks do not look awful or like splits but more like formation from dryness.
