This is a Polish AKM Type II (model 6H4) bayonet and scabbard. The Type II bayonets were basically copies of the Russian 6X4 but without the saw teeth on the spine. These bayonets were designed for the KBK in the 1970s and were used later for the KBK 88 Tantal and 96 Beryl.
The bayonet is in very good condition. The point shows very minor dulling. The blade edge is clean with no rolling, chips, or dings. The blade sides show minor wear and a couple minor rust stains. The handguard shows minor wear and is missing the buckle on the hand guard loop. The grip is good showing no cracks or splits. The pommel shows wear with some minor finish loss. The locking button on the pummel works normally
The scabbard shows minor wear overall but does show substantial finish loss at the wire cutter. The belt loop strap is good but the bayonet strap is torn.
The bayonet and scabbard are a serial number match
