Whitney Style II .45 caliber, breech loading carbine rifle in good, but worn condition. The stock is in fairly good condition with two minor cracks: one in the right side of the front handguard and one in the right side of the stock near the receiver (see photos). The exterior of the barrel seems to be in good condition though there is external discoloration. The rifling of the .45 caliber bore is worn with some pitting within, though not much. The breech loading lever works well and the trigger pull is good. This rifle is equipped with the original saddle ring. The top portion of the rear sight has broken off (view photo).
