This Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket Semi-Auto pistol chambered in .25 ACP was made in 1913. The Vest Pockets were a John Moses Browning design intended to be a very concealable pistol for every day carry. This pistol is hammerless with very minimal sights intended for close range. This pistol has both a grip and slide safety. After 1916 an additional safety was added in the form of a magazine safety disconnector.
This pistol is in good condition. The grip panels are very good showing only minimal wear with no cracks or chips. Overall bluing is about 70-75%. There are spots of finish loss/wear at muzzle and rear top of slide. Very minor pitting present at right side front slide and right front frame. Slide serrations show minor pitting/rust/grime. The bore is good with minor wear. Mechanically the pistol functions as it should. This pistol has not been test fired by us
This pistol includes one (1) six round magazine and a Browning small leather soft case.
