Condition
The rifle pictured is the rifle for sale. This Remington 03-A3 is in excellent condition for its age and includes an original US GI sling. The stock is in overall great shape with a majority of the finish still intact. There are very minor cosmetic blemishes and imperfections due to use and age but overall this 03 is in fantastic shape. The metal finish appears to be phosphate which a majority of the finish is still intact throughout the rifle. Again there are some minor cosmetic blemishes but nothing major to worry about. The bore of the rifle is in good condition. We note good rifling present throughout the barrel but there is some wear, carbon fouling and some light pits. The barrel should clean well with oil and solvents and still yield great accuracy.
