This is a wooden box (12 x 7 x 5) with lead bullets. The combined weight is 30 lbs.
These are 44 Caliber lead bullets that had been used for reloading .44-40 Winchester shells.
These are vintage lead bullets most likely from the 1960s-1970s.
We estimate there are between 400 to 600 lead bullets in the box. Lead Bullets are layered between cardboard sheets.
All the lead bullets show oxidation ranging from 50 to 100%. The vast majority are oxidized between 85-100%.
A .44-40 loading die is included.
These bullets can be cleaned for reloading or recast as other caliber bullets, fishing sinkers, etc.
– SAFETY WARNING –
There is substantial lead dust in this box and on the bullets from oxidation. Proper safety precautions should be taken when handling or working with lead. Gloves and Respirator are highly recommended.
