This Swiss Model 1889 bayonet made by Neuhausen SIG is in good condition. The serial number matches to Schmidt Rubin Model 1889 rifles in 1894.

This bayonet is in good condition. The blade edge shows no dings or rolling. The blade point is well defined with only the slightest rounding. There is rust spot staining as well as some scratching and minor wear. The fuller and ricasso show the most staining. The hand guard is good but has rust staining on the top and bottom. The grip is very good with minor wear. The pommel is has minor rust staining.

This bayonet comes with a scabbard. The scabbard is excellent with with minor finish loss and appears to have been arsenal refinished.

Fits Schmidt Rubin 1889, 96/11, 1911, (K11 will fit but will be loose)
