This Receiver, Trigger Assembly, and Barrel are from the Vetterli 1869/71 1871 .41 Swiss rifle. These parts came from a rifle that had been configured as a sporter. The 24 inch barrel is missing the front sight and the rear sight is on backwards. The finish shows loss and patina. The bore is poor with very worn rifling and pitting present. The receiver is good with finish loss, rust spotting, and patina. The trigger assembly appears complete and has finish loss and patina. The trigger guard has had the finger extension ground off and smoothed.
