This pistol is in very good condition. The grip panels are original showing very minimal wear and no chipping or cracking. History

The Model 8 was the first post WWI pistol produced by Walther. It quickly became popular for its small size, innovative design, and ease of disassembly and cleaning. It would evolve during its production years with three variants, First from 1920-26, Second 1927-33/34, and Third 1933/34-40. During WWII it was often carried as a back up pistol for officers as well as air force and tank crews needing something small given their confined spaces. Its simple design and size would lead directly to the Walther PP and PPK.
