This is a two (2) box lot of 8mm Nambu ammunition plus seven (7) loose rounds.
Each box contains 15 rounds. Total 37 rounds in this lot.
Both boxes are: Type 14-Tokyo First Arsenal (late type)
Both boxes are labeled the same translating to:
— Type 14 handgun ammunition —
— 15 rounds —
on the other box side symbol of Sho (Showa) 20.2 translating to:
— February 1945 —
Both boxes have been opened but each still contains 15 rounds. All rounds are unmarked/unstamped.
The boxes are brittle and show wear and aging discoloration. Both had been wrapped in cellophane for quite some time which did help maintain an overall good condition.
The rounds in the boxes are the copper jacketed late type.
Of the seven lose rounds, 3 are copper jacketed, 4 are the earlier silver color cupro-nickel jacket.
All the rounds in this lot show varying degrees of tarnish on the brass.
