This Browning Hi Power pistol in 9mm is in good condition. This is the rare aluminum alloy frame version aka “Lightweight” manufactured in 1981 (Browning code PZ) in Belgium by FNH. This pistol is also marked GVB 336 84 indicating it was issued to Belgian Police in 1984. All parts appear matching.

The finish on this Hi Power is about 70% with major loss and blemishing at front right of frame and bottom left of frame. Front and back grips show wear and scratching. Slide finish has wear top right and left and slight discoloration on rear right. The grip panels are good with very slight scratching and wear. The barrel is good with wear present and slight discoloration to the rear. The bore is very good, clean, with crisp rifling. This pistol comes with one 13 round magazine marked with GVB 336 84 matching the pistol. The magazine does not fall freely from the pistol upon release and is tight in the mag well.

The Alloy “Lightweight” are among the rarer of Browning Hi Power versions and highly sought by collectors.
