This Swiss Model 1889 bayonet made by Machinenfabrik Bern is in very good condition. The serial number matches to Schmidt Rubin Model 1889 rifles in 1891.

This bayonet is in very good condition. The blade edge is clean with no dings or rolling, The blade point is very good. There is some minor rust spot staining as well as some scratching and minor wear. The fuller shows minor wear and small pitting. The blade does show wear at the ricasso. The hand guard is good. The grip is good with minor wear. The pommel shows minor rust staining.

This bayonet comes with a scabbard. The scabbard is good but does show finish loss and wear
