This is an original Brown Leather Oil Cans Case for the Vickers Machine Gun made by Denzil Don of Australia dated 1941. Denzil Don was an Australian leather goods and sporting equipment maker that switched to making military supplies during WWII.
This case was made to carry assorted size oil cans for the Vickers Machine Gun.
This leather case is in excellent condition. The leather does not show any drying or cracking except for some minor fine cracking on the top. The stitching is solid throughout. The rivets are firm but do show green oxidation.
The interior is complete with the original leather ‘shelf’ and the second flap.
This case includes the original leather strap in excellent condition with some minor wear on the inside.
This case was very well stored to remain in such amazing condition.
