This is an original U.S. Army M1 Carbine OD Green Canvas Soft Case made by M.D. MFG. CO. dated 1944.  Also included is a M1 Carbine bandolier for ten round clips (undated).

This case is “named” to the soldier to whom it was issued.

The case is in excellent condition. The stitching is solid throughout.  There are a couple very minor wear spots.  No tears or ripping present.  The leather tabs are still supple with no drying or cracking.  The case is very clean and color only slightly faded.

The Bandolier is a six cell for 10 round clips. Condition very good. Some minor wear.  Stitching is good.  The bandolier is not dated and may be either WWII or Korean era.
