This U.S. Army Air Forces Type C-1 Emergency Sustenance Vest was made by Breslee Mfg Co.  These vests were made for air crews starting in WWII.  This appears to be the later model with the straight front pockets putting it into the WWII to Korea era.

This vest appears to have been un-issued and is in excellent condition.  There are a few minor discolorations and minor fraying at the button holes.  This vest has the original holster for the 1911 pistol.  There are 15 pockets numbered and labeled for the survival accessories needed.

Color is olive drab green.
