This Smith & Wesson Model 5906 semi-auto DA/SA pistol in 9mm with four inch barrel is in very good to excellent condition.

There is some minor wear overall and more distinct finish loss at front left frame, bottom front grip, and rear right frame. Minor scratch below take down lever which is common. The Hogue Grips are excellent showing no visible wear. The chamber is very clean with minor wear on breech face. The bore is excellent, shiny, clean, and with solid rifling.

Mechanically the pistol functions as it should. The DA/SA is smooth as is trigger pull. This pistol has not been test fired by us.

From the serial this is a first year production made in June 1989. This pistol does not come with the original factory grips as they have been replaced with Hogue rubber grips. This pistol includes three (3) – 15 round magazines.

This pistol also comes with an original blue Smith & Wesson hard case. This may not be original to the pistol as the 5906s came in the Smith & Wesson cardboard box. This appears to be a S&W revolver hard case that the owner has fashioned to the 5906 by cutting a slot for the extra magazines. There are no manuals/documents included with the pistol.
